Submission Guidelines

Article Types

IJESER publishes original research articles, reviews, technical notes, case studies, and short communications across Sciences, Engineering, and Environmental Sciences.

Formatting Requirements

All manuscripts must follow APA 7th edition format for:

  • Citations and references
  • Tables and figures
  • Headings and structure
  • Language and style

Required Sections

  • Title page (with author information and affiliations)
  • Abstract (250-300 words)
  • Keywords (4-6)
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References (APA 7th edition)
  • Appendices (if applicable)

Corresponding Author

One corresponding author must be designated. They will handle all communication with the editorial office and be responsible for manuscript submission, revisions, and publication.

Publication Process

Initial Submission

Submit your manuscript through our online portal or via email to editor@ijeser.fpw.edu.ng. Ensure it meets formatting requirements and similarity index policy.

Editorial Assessment (1-3 days)

Editor assesses manuscript for scope, formatting, and similarity index. If requirements are met, it proceeds to peer review.

Peer Review (2-3 weeks)

Double-blind review by 2-3 expert reviewers. Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, clarity, relevance, and significance.

Decision & Revisions

Authors receive decision (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, reject) with reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated.

Publication (within 1 week of acceptance)

Accepted papers are published online immediately, with continuous publication model ensuring rapid dissemination.

Total time from submission to publication: Typically within 4 weeks

Policies

Similarity Index Policy

All submissions must have a similarity index of 15% or less. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned for revision before formal review.

Ethical Guidelines

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All submissions are screened for originality.
  • Conflict of interest must be disclosed by all authors.
  • Research involving humans or animals must comply with ethical standards and institutional approvals.

Open Access and Copyright

  • IJESER is an open-access journal, providing free access to all readers.
  • Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the license to publish.
  • Content can be freely cited and shared with appropriate attribution.
